MEDICARE REBATES
With a GP-referred  Mental Health Care Plan, psychotherapy clients are eligible to receive a rebate of AUD$124.50 per session for up 6 to 10 individual counselling sessions per calendar year. Clients may also claim rebates from their private health providers.

  1. Psychological & Behavioural Risk Assessment
    Evaluation of risks posed by individuals to themselves, their targets/victims, or the community. Suitable for law firms and practices, courts and court services, and organisations dealing with difficult behaviour among customers, clients or staff. Assessment may cover: - Violence, stalking, and sexual violence risks - Criminal recidivism and culpability - Mental illness, trauma impact, and fitness to study/work - Youth forensic risks and needs - Child protection, family assessment, and parenting capacity Full consultation includes an initial case consultation to establish the scope of the assessment; a comprehensive report of risks, needs, and recommendations; an optional structured feedback meeting with the assessee, and a conclusion meeting with the referrer.
  2. Case Consultation, Review, and Supervision
    Secondary consultation for cases where in-person assessment is not possible, or where additional expert opinion is sought to supplement the expertise of in-house assessors and managers. Services include: - Review of current cases and recommendations for management - Participation in case management team meetings - Review/validation of assessment reports and management plans - Post-incident staff debrief and case review - Guidance and support in establishing a threat management program - Development of risk management plans per case - Advice on process transparency and defensible decision-making - Identification of professional development deficits - Clinical supervision and debriefing
  3. Development and Training
    We provide a range of materials and workshops for organisations wishing to implement effective management of threats and problem behaviours. These include: - Front-line staff responses to damaging and intrusive problem behaviours - Management of social media misuse/online interpersonal harm - Threat management process and practice for leadership and executive staff Right in the Head is able to provide comprehensive reviews of workplace practices, policies and procedures in managing behavioural threats. This includes identifying, recommending, and implementing strategies to improve organisational resilience and enhance employee capacity to manage challenging behaviours.   4. Psychotherapy & Counselling
    Therapeutically, Annabel works with children, adolescents, couples, families, and clients with forensic needs, and has special interests in: - Child and adolescent mental health - Relationship, marriage, and parenting challenges - Online interpersonal harm and pornography use - Gender and sexuality - Family violence and child protection matters - Separated families and custody issues - Grief, loss, and attachment trauma - Anger management - Criminal and offending behaviours - Self-directed violence - Persistent, unwanted contact and threatening behaviour (stalking/harassment)
